International mediator and ADR practitioner
Delcy Lagones de Anglim is one of the leading international mediators and ADR practitioners in the Asia Pacific region.
She has 29 years experience in mediation. She trained as a co-mediator in Australia.
Delcy started her legal career in 1988 in her native Peru. She offers a wealth of experience in international trade law, commercial, financial, environment and family law, obtained during her work in South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Delcy worked as a Dispute Resolution consultant with the World Bank. She has worked previously with the United Nations in Cambodia.
Delcy represented LAWASIA as Head of Delegation to the UNCITRAL meetings in New York and Vienna. She was an active participant in the drafting on the Singapore Mediation Convention for the enforcement of mediated international commercial agreements. Delcy is a Fellow and Founding Director of the UNCITRAL Coordination Committee Australia.
She is an advanced mediator with many organizations and a certified mediator with IMI. She is the Founder of the Australasian Dispute Resolution Centre, ADRC, based in Canberra.
She has won multiple awards in recognition to her contribution to mediation among them the Inaugural Australian Disputes Centre, Best International Mediator and Excellence in the practice of Dispute Resolution by the Resolution Institute Australia.
She is a native speaker of Spanish, fluent in English, working level in French, and Italian, basic Khmer, Quechua and Portuguese.
