Mr. Amod K. Dalela is a Science Graduate from Meerut University (B.Sc. - 1977); Law Graduate from Meerut University (LL.B -1980) and Post Graduate in Social Work from Agra University (M.S.W.-1983). He did the post graduate Diploma in Training and Development from Indian Society of Training and Development, New Delhi. (PGT&D- 1990)

 

 He has subsequently done Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Laws from Indian Law Institute, New Delhi ( PG Dip-Cyber Laws-2014); Cyber Forensic Analyst (Plus), from Asian School of Cyber Laws-Pune ( CFA+- 2015); Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council ( CEH -2015) and Post Graduate Diploma in Alternate Dispute Resolution from Indian Law Institute, New Delhi ( PGDip-ADR-2016). He has recently completed LL.M. (Cyber Laws and Cyber Security) from I. P. University, New Delhi (2016-18) through its weekend Program.

 

 He has been trained by Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India in Commercial Mediation and Negotiation in a specialized 40-hour training Program held at New Delhi in Sept. 2019. He has also been trained by Delhi Dispute Resolution Society (Regd.) Department of Law, Justice & Legislative Affairs, Govt of NCT of Delhi in Concepts and Techniques of Mediation in its 40-hour training program held in September 2021. He has also attended training in Mediation organized jointly by Indian Law Institute, New Delhi; Samadhan-Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre and SAARC-Law, India Chapter in April 2023.

 He is a Fellow of Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution ( FAIADR), Malaysia and Fellow Member if Indian Council of Arbitration (FICA) besides Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) and a premium member of Mediate.com.

Practicing currently as an Advocate on pan-India basis with New Delhi as primary place of practice, in various courts such as High Court, District Courts, Central Govt Industrial Tribunal, National Company Law Tribunal and Appellate Tribunal ( NCLAT) and quasi-judicial authorities. Practice areas include, Civil, Commercial, Labour, Matrimonial and Arbitrations.

 

He is associated with Construction Industry Arbitration Council, New Delhi as its Principal Advisor cum Hony. Registrar.

 

He possesses rich experience of over 43 years. He has conducted commercial arbitrations, including Construction Arbitrations as a Sole Arbitrator as well as Panel Arbitrator. Also engaged actively in ODR in the capacity of Neutral/Arbitrator and Conciliator with ODR platforms such as Private Court, Presolv360 and CORD.

 

He has a vast exposure of conducting Mediation at various fora. He has an experience of teaching Arbitration and Mediation as a guest faculty in various Law Schools including Indian Law Institute, New Delhi.

 

He has participated in various National as well as International moot competitions such as G.D.Goenka-CIARB International Commercial Arbitration Competition organized by G D Goenka University India in 2018, 2019 and 2020; 5th AIAC VIS Pre-moot, 2021 held virtually in March 2021; 1st International Construction Arbitration Moot organized jointly by International Construction Law Association and Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration held virtually in October 2021 St. Petersburg V FDI Pre-moot organized jointly by Russian Arbitration Association and St. Petersburg University held virtually in October 2021.

Mr. Dalela is empanelled as an Arbitrator with leading Arbitral Institutions such as Indian Council of Arbitration (ICA), New Delhi and Construction Industry Arbitration Council (CIAC), New Delhi and Delhi International Arbitration Centre (Delhi High Court), New Delhi.
