Aruna Verma

Aruna has an LLB Hons and studied her LPC at Ulaw Guildford. Aruna is a qualified Solicitor working predominantly in litigation. Aruna began her teaching career in 2008 where she is now an Associate Professor. Aruna teaches on the postgraduate courses, modules including crime, civil, company law, family law and also on the Bar course.

 

In 2019, Aruna was seconded to Hong Kong to set up the first international Campus. She enjoys developing international activities and non-standard programmes such as summer schools. Aruna was appointed the Moorgate Campus Dean in 2023 and in 2024 the Hong Kong and Southampton campuses too. 

In 2024 Aruna was appointed a Judge in the first ever Sikh Court UK dealing with civil and family matters via arbitration. Aruna is also an accredited civil mediator. Chair of the Valuation Tribunal in England since 2022.
