​Ilan is an accredited mediator with experience working in person and online in community, civil/commercial and workplace contexts in the UK and internationally. He has delivered hundreds of hours of mediation training, and also works with individuals as a conflict coach.

 

Ilan founded Orchid Mediation 义兰调解 with the aim of elevating dialogue to transform conflict of all kinds into mutually positive outcomes using inclusive mediation processes that are designed specifically for the parties involved.

Ilan brings two decades’ experience working in finance, government and international organisations across Europe, Asia and the Middle East to his practice as a mediator. Having lived for several years in mainland China, he communicates comfortably in Mandarin Chinese.

Ilan has degrees in East Asian Studies from the University of Sheffield; and in Conflict Resolution and Mediation from Tel Aviv University.
