Iram Majid

Ms. Iram Majid is a legal professional with experience of 18+ years in handling wide range of criminal, matrimonial, civil, commercial, banking and finance matters cases inside the court as Advocate and outside the court as Mediator.

She is an APCAM Certified Arbitrator and APCAM International Certified Mediator and an IMI Certified Mediator. Iram is the Director of IIAM and Executive Director of the Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration & Mediation (APCAM). She is Co- founder and Secretary General International Federation of Mediators in France. She is Chair of forums such as Lloyd Institute for Mediation and Arbitration and World ADR Women. She is President of India International ADR Association. She is Director at Lloyd Law College.

She is a Member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators London UK. She is empanelled as mediator with Global Panel of United Nations Development Program of Ombudsman. Iram has undergone training for Arbitration from Chartered Institute of Arbitration UK and Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation (IIAM) and for mediation many reputable institutions, including IIAM, the Harvard Law School for Advance Mediation Programme, on Negotiation in Harvard Law School and Pepperdine University, California.

She has won the BIAMAC top 10 mediators in Asia- Pacific Awards 2019. She has also been awarded the APCAM's ADR Institutional Administration Award 2023.

Apart from practicing as a lawyer and an arbitrator. She has various reported judgment has worked as an Arbitrator in many Arbitration. she is actively associated in academics.

She is professor of practice in Manipal University Jaipur. She is resource person Maharashtra National Law University for Diploma in Arbitration, Result of continuous involvement in academics, she has authored “Mediation: Theory in Practice” and now proud coach of teams performing in International ADR Moots.
