Amit Kathpalia

Amit Kathpalia has been in the construction industry for 40 years with 35 years in Govt including nine years as Chief Engineer and five years in corporate.

He is a Civil engineer with an LLM In International Construction Contracts from Pantheon Assas University of Law, Paris. He is a Visiting Professor at RICS School of Built Environment, National Law University Delhi, National Institute of Construction Management and Research University, L&T Institute of Project Management and L&T Edutech, and a corporate trainer. He has taken training sessions of more than 120 companies in India and abroad during last three years.

He is the author of a book – “Practical Construction Contract Issues Which are not Commonly Understood”, which was No 1 bestseller on Amazon.in for 12 months and has been purchased by construction contract professionals in 26 countries.  He is currently the managing partner of Boutique Techno-legal firm “Klaims and Qwantum International”.

He has successfully handled 22 mediation cases as a Mediator, eight arbitration cases as Arbitrator and defended 41 arbitration cases.
