Fola Alade

Fola Alade is a Commercial Lawyer, Notary Public, and Accredited Attorney-Mediator with over 15 years of experience in law, dispute resolution, and professional development. He is the Principal Partner of FOTEFA Partners LP and the Founder of the FOTEFA Mediation Academy.

He is a member of the UN Global Mediation Panel and has mediated complex disputes for multinational organizations, government institutions, and commercial entities across Africa. His areas of expertise include commercial conflict, workplace mediation, MSME disputes, real estate settlements, and debt recovery. He serves as a panel mediator with the Nigerian Court of Appeal, Federal High Court, and various state and arbitration centers in Nigeria.

Fola is an internationally certified trainer (IADT UK) and an emotional intelligence specialist. He is also a Fellow of the World Mediation Organization and the ADR Society of Nigeria. He has judged numerous global mediation competitions and facilitates courses in negotiation, mediation, and legal soft skills.

His work focuses on institutionalizing mediation in Africa as a credible alternative to litigation. He is involved in reforming mediation training and advising institutions on policy frameworks to improve conflict resolution across the continent.
